As with the previous series of 'Remember the 80s', the same few gang are there to discuss what had been in the 80s (though I resisted using Terence as the 'joke' this time).
So what do you remember about the 80s? What did your school sell in the 'tuckshop' (canteen as we call it in Sg) ? I remember mine use to sell Roti prata for 50c, drinks 10c, noodles and rice for about 20 -30c. Everyday it was so crowded at break time, you gotta rush to buy your food before squeezing with all your friends at the long table. LOL. And I only had a dollar every day to eat breakfast, and lunch. Really envy those kids who got $3-$5 for pocket money.
And yeah, KFC back in the 80s when it was still Kentucky Fried Chicken, its a restaurant that serves your chicken on a plate, and you dine using knifes and forks. Its expensive eating there during then, and the feel is like eating out at a high class restaurant. haha, only ever been there(Kallang branch) twice to eat. Unforgettable. A memory that no kids will ever have these days since KFC become a fastfood chain.
